Loan Officer
As a loan officer you will develop loan applications by evaluating applicant information and documentation.
Your responsibilities will include:

Evaluates loan applications and documentation by confirming credit worthiness.

Improves loan applications and documentation by informing applicant of additional requirements.

Rejects loans by explaining deficiencies to applicants.

Approves loans by issuing checks or forwarding applications to loan committee.
-
Completes loan contracts by explaining provisions to applicant; obtaining signatures and notarizations; collecting fees.

Helps customers by answering questions; responding to requests.

Maintains customer confidence by keeping loan information confidential.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Loan Processor
We are looking for a reliable Loan Processor. You will undertake an intermediary role between potential clients and our financial institution. The goal is to help qualified applicants obtain loans in a timely manner and protect our organization’s credibility.
Your responsibilities will include:

Perform initial review of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications

Assess the credit standings of applicants through background research
-
Interview applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan
-
Conclude on all applicable financial and non-financial criteria and develop loan repayment plans
-
Follow up with clients to clarify important points
-
Give the “green light” to eligible candidates and report decisions with sound arguments
-
Keep clients informed on current guidelines and obligations
-
Remain up to speed regarding lending and other financial services
-
Create and renew records
-
Identify customer needs, explore all options and suggest different types of loans
-
Cultivate trustworthy referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services
-
Forge trust relationships and enhance customer dedication

Work within established regulations and adhere to law requirements at all times
Some additional skills and qualifications we'll look for: Proven working experience in a loan processor role, Good knowledge of banking computer software and MS Office, Comprehension of direct/indirect lending procedures, In-depth understanding of relevant rules and regulations, Excellent communication and sales skills, Balance between customer satisfaction orientation and a results driven approach, and BSc degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
Loan Officer Assistant
A Loan Officer Assistant works alongside designated Loan officers in a productive environment. This position involves supporting a team in the loan origination process as well as performing daily administrative tasks. Tasks are completed with a deadline and with proficiency.
This position requires registration with the national Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS), as created under the federal S.A.F.E. Act.

Perform specific tasks assigned by loan officer

Ensure files move through processing and closing in a timely manner

Establish appointments with clients

Meet with clients to complete necessary documents

Make copies of important documents

Promptly respond to client’s questions and concerns

Follow up with clients at all times, keeping them informed of the loan process

Accurately obtain & review applicant’s credit history

Systematically store and maintain client data and files

Properly prepare files for submission to processing

Daily illustration of excellent customer service skills with clients and applicants to ensure client retention

Efficiently perform a variety of research duties in support of the branch

Stay acquainted with assigned Loan Officer’s daily schedule

Proficiently assist in the development of financial objectives in association with present data
